Stavroula Siamoglou


Miss Siamoglou Stavroula is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Patras. Also, she holds a degree in Pharmacy and a Master of Science degree: "Master of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology" of the University of Patras, directed to Molecular Pharmacology, Biopharmaceutical, and Biomolecular Analysis. She has experience in molecular techniques and genotyping techniques and has been trained in the Sanger Sequencing technique at the Department of Pathology College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates (UAE). As a member of the three-member team (George P. Patrinos, Stavroula Siamoglou, Panagiotis Stastiankis), she participated in a competition of the Pan-Hellenic Association of Bioscientists "Fotis Kafatos Lab Box" for the development of a portable laboratory of molecular biology, where they won the second prize with the "2MoBiL".

Since January 2019, she has successfully performed a plethora of experimental and educational procedures with 2MoBiL across Greece, both in schoolς and in actions open to the general public. Fields of interest include Genetics, Epigenetics, Pharmacogenomics, Pharmacoepigenomics as well as their implementation to patients Individualized Therapy and the public health system in general.


She has participated in conferences with oral presentations, and she has publications in prestigious scientific journals. Also, she has attended several seminars and conferences.
